Using an intel X722-DA4 in a Supermicro SYS-1029-WTRT Server running Server 2022 Datacenter. After enabling RDMA on the Network Adapters and configuring them into a SET-Switch as per directions in the StorageSpacesDirect deployment guide from Microsoft. The Server will BSOD randomly when testing SMBDirect traffic.
Sometimes that error is an LM_SERVER_INTERNAL_ERROR in smbdirect.sys
or just an IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL error. We have 12 of these same servers we just retrofitted and we have similar issues across them all.
We've downloaded the latest driver for the NIC directly from the intel website, as well as tested with the current one from windows update as well.
