I Wonder if there is possibility to connect two servers directly (without switch or switches) with use of 2x Intel x520-DA2 10Gb Network adapters and Intel Ethernet SFP+ Twinaxial Cable XDACBL3M. Anybody has experience with similar configuration?

Hello,
You can directly connect (2) X520-DA2. No crossover cable is required and no switch is required. Just make sure to use a quality cable and avoid running the Ethernet cable in parrellel with interference devices, such as a power cord.

Hello,
Yes, you can use that SFP+ twinaxial cable for back to back connections and it should work just fine.
