VLAN Configuration Not Supported on FZ-55 MK3 (New NIC Hardware)

We have received new computers of model FZ-55 MK3.
On these systems, it is not possible to configure VLANs, apparently due to a newer generation network adapter that no longer supports Intel PROSet / Advanced Network Services (ANS).

Actions performed during troubleshooting:

  1. Installed the latest drivers from the Panasonic support site.
  2. Installed the latest drivers from Intel.
  3. Attempted to configure VLANs using Intel command-line tools  "Intel-Ethernet_Cmdlets"
  4. Installed the latest version of Intel PROSet.
  5. Searched for an NVM/Firmware update that might enable VLAN functionality – no relevant update was found for this NIC.
  6. BIOS has been updated to latest version: bios_55_v300_l21

Technical Comparison (Hardware IDs):

  • FZ-55 MK2 (Working):
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15FB&SUBSYS_833810F7&REV_20
  • FZ-55 MK3 (Not Working):
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0DC5&SUBSYS_833810F7&REV_01

Findings:

  • On FZ-55 MK2 systems (With NIC model:itzik1_0-1774881586311.jpeg

), VLAN configuration works as expected.
  • On FZ-55 MK3 systems (With NIC model:itzik1_1-1774881586312.jpeg

), VLAN configuration is not available at all.
  • Although the adapter name appears identical, the underlying hardware is different.
  • Based on system behavior and error messages, it appears that Intel no longer supports ANS/VLAN configuration via drivers on newer network adapters.

Conclusion:

This appears to be a hardware/architecture limitation or a removed feature, rather than a driver or configuration issue.

We would appreciate your clarification on the following:

  1. Does the new network adapter (DEV_0DC5) support VLAN configuration at all?
  2. If yes – what is the supported method (With or without Intel PROSet)?
  3. Is there any alternative tool, firmware, or NVM update that enables this functionality?
  4. Has Intel officially removed ANS/VLAN support on newer adapters?

Attached are comparison images of both systems for reference, as well as an image showing the error when using Ethernet-cmdlets to configure a VLAN
