Hello,
I use X550T with latest firmware compiled by myself, but still not fix the Warning, my customers are complaining me. Do you have any idea or quickest way to handle this? Or I need some very specific version of the driver?
Thank you so much.

Hi Azeem,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually, I do use the source that you listed above and I extracted ixgbe driver from PROXGB subdirectory: ixgbe-5.19.9.tar.gz, issued date is 2023/12/5, the file size is 551.2kb.
Basically I followed this blog (https://www.xmodulo.com/download-install-ixgbe-driver-ubuntu-debian.html) to make and compile it, and everything sounds smooth, except (when 'make'):
*** The target kernel has CONFIG_MODULE_SIG_ALL enabled, but
*** the signing key cannot be found. Module signing has been
*** disabled for this build.
Frankly I don't know how to use the key files.
It still has any other tricks, such as has to use a specific version of driver, or some subtle difference between X550 and X550T...i don't know.
So far, I don't has a chance to take a snapshot for the NIC, because it is in use, but not perfectly.
Thank you and need more suggestions.
Thank you.

Hello Azeem,
Thanks for your follow-up.
If I knew how to install it with signing(==key?), Ii think I have been tried already. So if you have very specific info about how to do it, ant hints, links, or intel's official step-by-step docs, I will appreciate.

Hi Douglas,
Greetings for the Day!
Hope you are doing well Please try the steps below for installation. If the issue persists, please let us know, and we will escalate this matter,
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022174/ethernet-products.html
Note: If you purchased an OEM branded server or appliance, contact your OEM for a SW driver version that is compatible with your exact FW version. Using SW and FW versions that have not been validated to work together will affect performance, feature availability, and system stability
Please do not hesitate in contact us, we are more than glad to assist you.
Best Regards,
Azeem.

Thanks Azeem.
The attached link may not fit in my case, but still thank you for your effort.
The question I am thinking now is the difference between the X500, X500T, and X500T1, and X500T2. And I googling/ebaying and can barely found X500T.
Again, the name of driver I need to install is for X550T:
# lspci | grep -i ethernet
62:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10G X550T (rev 01)
62:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10G X550T (rev 01)
but from extracted folder, there is a "readmefirst.txt":
This release includes ixgbe Linux* Base Drivers for Intel(R) Ethernet Network Connections.
The ixgbe driver supports devices based on the following controllers:
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller 82598
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller 82599
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller X520
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller X540
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller x550 <---- x500 == x500t??
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller X552
* Intel(R) Ethernet Controller X553
- The ixgbevf driver can only be activated on kernels that support SR-IOV. It
supports all of the above devices except for the Intel(R) Ethernet
Controller 82598.
Now I am worrying about the driver is not the one it should be: we have X550T, but I installed X550!
Because I cannot found more info about these models, so I am not sure now. But I a pretty sure: this is the only one choice: ixgbe-5.19.9.tar.gz. All others are rpm packets.
Do you have any idea about the different of the models: X500, X500T, and X500T1, and X500T2. The only thing I can guess is: the T1 is for ONE port. T2 is for 2 ports.
Sorry to post so many other staffs here, but they are related with.
Thank you.

Thanks Azeem.
As for the NIC snapshot, I am not authorized to open the server box for now, so the only thing I can do is to collect info as detail as possible from Ubuntu Server 20.04.6.
So the details are:
note1: all lshw has more than 2000 lines, so I only captured nic-related PCI. And from my screen, pci:1 and network:0 AND network:1 are tree structure, but after paste here, all tree-shape gone( html style ).
note2: I only hided my ip in "configuration" section, all others are original
