X550-T2 MAC Addressing

Hi,

I recently received an order of Intel X550-T2's which I installed in Oracle servers.

Why are the MAC addresses not sequential? 

i.e. one card has these macs a0:36:9f:61:64:68 and a0:36:9f:61:64:68

I've installed X710-T4 and other Intel cards and the MACs were always sequential.

Hi Azeem,

My apologies I made a typo the product is not defective.

I wanted to know why the MAC addresses are not sequential as shown below.

 one interface has mac add a0:36:9f:61:64:68 and the other has a0:36:9f:61:64:6a

Perhaps a0:36:9f:61:64:69 is assigned internally?
