What is the pin out of the ELX550AT single channel 10GE controller. What is the maximum current requirement for the VCCA 1.0V power rail?

Hi wlscott,

Thank you for posting in Wired Ethernet Community.

If you're looking for pin interface and electrical specification of X550AT, please refer to section 2 and section 12 of the datasheet found in the link below.

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/ethernet-x550-datasheet.pdf

Hope this helps.

Hi Vince,

Unfortunately the content of those two chapters (and others) is what led to the original posting.

Specifically:

1. The data sheet refers to x550-AT2 and x550-BT2 with no mention of the single channel x550-AT.Furthermore, the specification sheet refers to elx550at, elx550at2, and elx550bt2; I hope these are the actual part numbers for ordering.

2. Both the elx550at and elx550at2 are available in 17x17 mm packages. So this leads to the question of pin out differences since the elx550at2 has two 10GE ports. For example, if the pin out is the same except the elx550at has only one 10GE port which port is it.

3. The data sheet identifies VCCA as 1V analog power rail; however, there is no additional discussion of either the requirements or use of this power rail. What is it and what is needed to support it?

Thanks,

Bill
