Hi,
I have ubuntu 20.04 (non secure boot) and has successfuly installed the latest igb driver, however while compiling, I notice the following warning messages:
*** The target kernel has CONFIG_MODULE_SIG_ALL enabled, but
*** the signing key cannot be found. Module signing has been
*** disabled for this build.
I was able to make install and after rebooting. I cannot see anything with lsmod | grep igb until I modprobe igb. However, I still cant see any network adaptor
The following appear after modprobe:
igb: loading out-of-tree module taints kernel.
igb: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel
igb: Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Linux Driver - version 5.14.16
igb: Copyright(c) 2007 - 2023 Intel Corporation.
How to resolve this issue?
regards
KP
