Hello guys,

I have an issue with one of my device. My computer is a Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS to which is connected a Intel I350 Gigabit Ethernet controller. When this device boots, i have an error with this NIC:

After some research, i've used the intel 's BOOTUTIL tool to try to reset the NIC but that didn't work.

Regarding your question booting error using Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS that is connected to Intel I350 Gigabit Ethernet controller.

Please go through below link of Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Ethernet Controllers (LOM):

According to the link - the only supported OS version for Ubuntu are Ubuntu*22.04 LTS and Ubuntu*20.04 LTS.

I would suggest that you update the OS to the version that is compatible as well as update the driver to the latest version.

Kindly update on more details of Intel I350 Gigabit Ethernet controller specification that you are using.

Hello,

I understand that this Linux version isn't compatible with this NIC according to your table, but i have 4 other computer with exactly the same configuration and hardware and they are working just fine like this which is why i don't think there is a driver or compatibility issue

After several research, i managed to get my NIC working using Bootutil -all -fe to enable flash. But i still only see 2 interfaces for my I350 NIC instead of 4
