Hello, quick question:
Can the HPS user clock be used as the reference clock to an IOPLL IP on the Arria 10?
If yes, are there some cases where the IOPLL output clocks would be unsuitable because the reference clock is from a generated clock and not from a potentially more precise external source.
I had a Cyclone V design where using the HPS user clocks as reference clocks worked fine, but now that I am switching architecture I cant find any resources telling me that this will/wont work for the Arria 10
Thanks

Hi
Yes, you can use the User Clock from the Arria10 HPS to be connected to the IOPLL IP.
Are you facing any problem with this connection?

No, just worried about generating a clock from an already generated clock with respect to clock uncertainty. But if you say it works then I'll assume it works
