Does Altera has Logarithm function ip core? HELP..

I hope the ip core could suit for CYCLONE 3... 

 

and also, i want to know if the ip is free or not.

There is a floating point log megafunction in Quartus II (8.1 and up I think) called ALTFP_LOG.

And, depending on your problem, maybe you can use a ROM table (plus simple interpolation if needed).
