Hi guys,

I have quartus 7.2 license but I can't use my project without usb cable and quartus running.

Warnings:

Warning: Using OpenCore Plus hardware evaluation for the following cores.

Warning: "Nios II Processor (6AF7_00A2)" will use OpenCore Plus hardware evaluation.

File:

(quartus dosent generate project.pof)

<poject>_time_limited.sof

when quartus finished to program the device, show me a window with time renaming and cancel.

It's normal? (Tethered Mode??)

How can I use that without these restrictions?

Thank you for your help, im noob :)

NIOS (and most commercial IP cores) is licensed separately, but the core will allow you to try it out in a development environment - hence the JTAG tether.

Think of it like shareware, only in hardware.

You will have to buy a NIOS license if you want to run it without a JTAG cable.

If you are in the Altera's University Program, I think you could ask for such a license for free.

I've

finished the last critical fixes I've been planning on putting in OpenCore

0.17.1. Since some of these bugfixes have been quite critical I'd like to

make a release
