Hi everybody,
I am working with the TSE reference design from altera. The TSE include a MAC block, PCS and PMA. When I use optic SFP, in loopback, everything works well. I would like to work with Copper SFP. But when I use them, it doesn't work. The autonegociation 1000BASE-X is never complete. I tried to disable this autonegociation, thanks to the TSE_PCS_CONTROL register. When I do that, It seems to send packets, but in fact I think nothing happens, I have the following registers: DEBUG -- premiere verif MAC_CMD_CONFIG => 0x623 DEBUG -- premiere verif MAC_CMD_CONFIG => 0x623 DEBUG -- EMON1- Receiving Packets = 1000000 DEBUG -- EGEN1- Sending Packets = 1000000 DEBUG -- EGEN0- Configuration Setting = 0xbdc DEBUG -- EGEN0- Seed Value High = 0x2914 DEBUG -- EGEN0- Seed Value Low = 0x54e59c61 DEBUG -- EGEN0- MAC SRC ADDR High = 0xee11 DEBUG -- EGEN0- MAC SRC ADDR Low = 0x22334450 DEBUG -- EGEN0- MAC DST ADDR High = 0xee22 DEBUG -- EGEN0- MAC DST ADDR Low = 0x33445560 DEBUG -- EMON1- RX CTL STAT = 0x1 DEBUG -- EGEN0- OPERATION = 0x1 and for the report, I have an error message: Number: 1 Status: Error (monitor never finished; please re-download SOF to reset system) Run Time: 0.000 seconds -----Link Configuration----- TSE Sender MAC: 0xee1122334450 TSE Receiver MAC: 0xee2233445560 Link Speed: 100 (Duplex: half) -----Sender----- Packets to Send: 1000000 packets (length: 1518, data type: increment) Packets Sent: 1000000 packets (NaN packets/sec) -----Receiver----- Packets Received: 0 (valid: 0, error: 0) Bytes Received: 0 bytes (rate: NaN bits/second) I also change SFP registers, but it doesn't change anything. Are there other registers to change? Does anybody have an idea to help me?? Thank you for your help!!Link Copied
