Using the LVDS Library

I am currently at crossroads with the LVDS design.

I have 4 signal that will be going into the chip. Each of the signal are LVDS pairs.

I am trying too setup the LVDS IP and i keep getting confused whether i should set it up as a receiver or a transmitter.

The Signal that exits the LVDS IP is used in the design.

I need clarifying if i should use a receiver or transmitter configuration.

You will want to use a receiver, if the LVDS comes from an other chip and you want to RECEIVE it, otherwise if you want to TRANSMIT some data via LVDS you will want to use the transceiver.
