Cyclone V: configure FPGA fabric from HPS to update SPI Flash

Dear support,

We have a Cyclone SoC V SE (hard processor HPS + FPGA fabric) configured by a serial SPI flash.

We need to update the SPI flash from the HPS + Linux

From the read documentation, it seems possible to:

- Upload the new configuration file to a non volatile memory (OK, already done)

- Configure the FPGA fabric in order to give access of the SPI flash to the HPS

- Update the SPI flash from the HPS

Is there any relevant application note / user guide to program the FPGA fabric and update the SPI flash ?

I found some application note for Agilex but not for Cyclone V.

Regards,

WabG

To help the community, the FPGA fabric access is realized through the FPGA manager and it's available only for some MSEL configurations. In our case, unfortunately, our board don't have the right configuration so we can't reconfigure the FPGA fabric.

I will close this thread and follow up from the other link.

Thanks.
