Hi,
I have a custom board which has Stratix 10 device: 1sg280LN2F43I2LG on it. Then I made a simple test application and compiled it using Quantus Pro19.2. However, I encountered problem while trying to program it. Quantus always failed with the following error message:
(Screenshot attached)
1. Error(18948): Error message received from device: Detected hardware access error. There is a failure in accessing external hardware. (Subcode 0x0032, Info 0x00000000, Location 0x0000BC00)
2. Error(20072): A PMBUS error has occurred during configuration. Potential errors: Incorrect VID setting in Quartus Project. The target device fails to communicate to smart regulator or PMBUS Master on board.
Quantus seems to complain the VID settings, but the device does not use SmartVID.
The interesting thing is the same sof file can be programed in Quantus Pro 20.4 successfully. (Same board, same cable.)
I'm wondering if there is any issue in 19.2 that solved in 20.4 which could cause the problem.
If so, is there any fix available?
Or is there any configuration change in 19.2 can fix the issue?
(The reason I use 19.2 is because of the svf support, which has been removed in later Quantus Pro)
Thanks in advance!

Further tests indicate the problem exist till Quantus 20.2 and gets resolved since 20.3.
