ptf files required

Hi all, 

I have recently bought cyclone2 board with EP2C20F484C7 chip. The software I received does not contain any full featured or standard ep2c20*.ptf files. From where I can get them?  Thank You

What do you have? If you have the quartus projects, then a generation of the SOPC system and a compile of the Quartus project will give you the ptf and sof files you need.

I don't have quartus project for ep2c20. I have ep2c20.sof but no related *.ptf file. I could successfully run the program using C2_Starter_SD_Card_Audio.sof and C2_Starter_SD_Card_Audio.ptf but in that case output was seen only on the console not on the board. I tried several pairs of .sof and .ptf files to run the project but they are not working. what is the 'missing link' in my case?  Thanks

The missing link is the Quartus project. You need the SOPC project to generate a ptf file.
