working with cyclone 2 starter kit, can't create nios2 processor with quartus13.0sp1

hey there,

i'm trying to start working with NIOS processor and i can't generate with Qsys a programmable file.

i'm going thru video tutorials step-by-step and still get some errors.

i'm looking for a book or guide that will walk me thru the process of creating nios processor with the basic "blinking LED" program.

i'm working with cyclone 2 starter kit, quartus 13.0sp1

You can follow this tutorial. Since it's not the same board and FPGA, you have to map the correct pins by yourself.

In general, you can find a folder named golden_top from the example folder of the CD or .zip delivered with the board.

You can start your design with the .qpf file where all pin are already assigned.
