Apex Legends issues on the Intel Arc b580 graphics card

Hello, I’m experiencing a graphics issue in Apex Legends where:

  1. Ground textures never load correctly and always appear extremely low-resolution, blocky, or corrupted. This happens throughout the entire match, not just when viewing from the dropship.(See screenshot(The screenshot was taken from another discussion.))
  2. A recent update introduced a snow problem on one of the maps (Since you have a size limitation, here is a link to the video of the second point: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1maCzoxXX_1Sbp3xy9d4OMMvU3biOjl3_/view?usp=sharing)
  3. I've been struggling with the first point for a year now, but I've almost gotten used to it, but another 2nd point has appeared.

System Specs:

  • GPU: Intel Arc B580 (12 GB VRAM)

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 8400f

  • RAM: 32 GB DDR5

  • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit, fully updated)

  • Drivers: Intel Arc Graphics – 32.0.101.8425

  • BIOS: Resizable BAR enabled

  • Report for intel graphics driver in attach

Settings Tested:

  • Texture Streaming Budget: Tested all

  • Texture Filtering: 16x Anisotropic

  • Adaptive Resolution: OFF

  • Anti-Aliasing: TSAA

  • Model Detail: High

Issue Details:

  • Ground textures (grass, dirt, farmland, etc.) appear pixelated, blotchy, and low-detail at all times, even when standing right on them.

  • Textures do not seem to properly load into high resolution, despite sufficient VRAM and system RAM.

  • Other games on the same hardware display textures normally, so this seems isolated to Apex Legends.

  • On the other map, I understand that the reflection on the snow is very bad, or there is a problem with the lighting (I don’t really understand)

Steps Tried:

  1. Updated GPU drivers (latest Intel Arc drivers).

  2. Updated Windows.

  3. Enabled ReBAR in BIOS.

  4. Verified game files.

  5. Adjusted all relevant graphics settings (textures, filtering, adaptive resolution, etc.).

  6. I reinstalled Windows on both 10 and 11.

Result: Issue persists across all settings and tests.

If there's anything else that needs to be added, let me know and I'll send it as soon as I can.

This is great, I'll pray they fix these issues soon because they're making it impossible for me to play my favorite game. We're waiting, hoping, and believing!

Please be assured that I will provide updates promptly should there be any new developments. Because the 8629 version of the driver was an internally packaged driver version completed before the engineering team began formally investigating the graphics rendering issues of Apex Legends. The known issues in the release notes of this version did not mention the graphics rendering problem of Apex Legends. Obtaining WHQL certification requires a lot of time, which is why its official release was delayed until April. It is expected to be fixed in the next version or the version after that.

Hello, I just wanted to add that the issue is also happening on Arc 140T.

If it is possible please include the 140 and 130 series in the conversation topic, as the issue is not unique to B series.

Thank you.

Hi, I just want to add I have these exact same issues on the Intel ARC A380. So, it isn't just the B580. It is happening on all the maps as of the most recent apex legends update. Having super bright lights in certain areas of the map

Hey, I read your whole post — yeah that’s actually a really annoying one From what you’re describing (low-res ground
textures all the time + weird snow/lighting after update), it doesn’t sound like a normal “settings issue” anymore. It
feels more like Apex + Intel Arc driver optimization problem tbh. I faced something similar on a different game once
where textures never fully streamed in properly, no matter the VRAM or settings. What kind of helped me back then (not
sure if it helps here but worth trying): Try completely disabling texture streaming budget tweaks and set it to a fixed
mid value (sometimes auto/ultra behaves weird on Arc GPUs) Clear shader cache + reinstall shaders after driver update
(this fixed a “blurry ground” issue for me in another game) Also test launching with different DirectX mode if Apex
allows any launch options changes Honestly though, if it’s happening only in Apex and other games are fine, it might
just be Apex not fully playing nice with Intel Arc yet. I run a small setup under Dooflix and I’ve seen similar “one
game only” rendering bugs before — usually they fix it in patches slowly. Do you notice if it gets worse after long play
sessions or is it broken from the very first match?

I'm experiencing the same thing with the A380. Even after updating the driver to the latest version, the bug has gotten worse. What initially appeared normal after landing, now the effect is still there after landing, and it's seriously impairing my view of the enemy.

: Still no bug fix in this update.
I've been struggling through this since the beginning of the Apex season. A new season is almost here and it's still not fixed.
