Issue with persistent FPS counter after installing Intel Driver & Support Assistant

Dear Intel Support Team,

I recently installed the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (or Intel Graphics Command Center) to update my graphics card drivers. Since the installation, an FPS counter (frame rate indicator) has appeared on my screen, and I am unable to find an option to disable or remove it.

Could you please provide instructions on how to turn off this overlay?

I know I sent that problem before and didn't respond to its solution, but I created a new account and was checking every day to see if anyone had responded, and I really want a solution for that annoying indicator.
