What is your processor model number?

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- ) for Windows. Select all data categories and then have it generate a report. Next, have the tool Save the report to a text file (don't try to use the Submit capability; it doesn't work). Finally, using the Drag and drop here or browse files to attach dialog below the edit box for the body of your response post, upload and attach this file to the response post.

It doesn't work, the same thing happens as with the installer I tried.
This is what the image says

intel
Graphics Driver Installer v1.0.691.3
Something went wrong.
The system has a driver that is locked to the manufacturer's specifications. Try downloading the latest driver from the manufacturer's website to update it.
Installer exit code: 1.

Ok, Lenovo does not want you to change the driver and has locked it for some reason.

There are two things you can do:

1) check with lenovo as to why they have locked it, and if they have a later version.

or

2) in device manager, uninstall the lenovo driver, and keep uninstalling until you get to the Microsoft Basic display adapter.  You will want to download the driver I linked you to first, then disconnect from the net (unplug the lan or disable wifi), and keep doing the uninstall with checking the "remove software" option.  When you get to the microsoft basic display adapter, then run the downloaded 2115 driver.  Then, enable your net.  Now, by doing this, you are not going to have the customizations (if any) that lenovo did.

Write it step by step because I don't understand you because everything from Lenovo has already been uninstalled. I uninstalled it years ago.

No, the ssu report says you have an Intel driver installed.

  1. download the driver I told you to download.
  2. Disconnect from the net
  3. open device manager
  4. select the display adapter
  5. select the intel adapter
  6. right click on the adapter and select uninstall, and check the box in the pop up that says remove software.
  7. repeat at step 5 until there is NO intel adapter
  8. Install the driver you downloaded.
  9. In the device manager, you should now see that 2115 is installed.
  10. connect to the net
  11.
