CS2 crashed. The dump it generated mentions that Failure.Exception.IP.Module=igd10umt64xe.DLL after I analyzed it with WinDbg.
My pc specs are the following:
- OS: Windows 11
- CPU: 1215U
- iGPU drivers: 32.0.101.7088
I attached the dump file in a zip file to this post.

Would a 9GB memory dump file help you to track down the issue? Because I had one from once it crashed randomly and the game did not "crash succesfully" by creating a dump file, so I created a memory dump with task manager.
I could try that with the latest (7088) driver provided by Intel.

Hi Rafa3,
Thank you so much for your response and for going the extra mile to help us investigate this further — we truly appreciate it!
To answer your question, yes, a 9GB memory dump file would absolutely be helpful in tracking down the issue. Please go ahead and provide us with the dump file using the latest driver version 7088 provided by Intel. Once we have received the file, we will review it and use it to further investigate the root cause of the issue.
Regarding the Black Ops issue, we kindly ask that you create a new thread for that concern, as we are only able to address one issue per thread. This will allow us to give each concern the full attention it deserves and ensure a more efficient resolution for both issues.
If you have any questions or need further assistance in the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to receiving the dump file and getting this fully resolved for you as soon as possible!
Best Regards,
Jobert T.

Yes,
- The dump files of "Failure.Exception.IP.Module=igd10umt64xe.DLL" crashes I can attach are from crashes that occur in the moment exactly 1. after launching the game, 2. during the black screen with the "VALVE" black letters inside the red rectangle, and 3. before the transition to the orange slide with the "Counter Strike..." letters. Sometimes these occur before the "VALVE" letters appear.
- I deleted the 9GB memory dump that I had generated and, after hours attempting for a random crash in-game in a map loaded. That is, the "Failure.Exception.IP.Module=igd10umt64xe.DLL"-crash while playing the game and not the random crash after launching the game.
- I will try to recreate the conditions that I remember for the 9GB memory dump that I generated once. If I recall correctly, it happened after I tried clearing the DirectX shader cache. That seemed to crash consistently.
- The 7088 driver resolved the previously mentioned artifacting in Black Ops. It is not a real issue if your team already fixed that.

The dump strongly points toward the Intel graphics driver, since igd10umt64xe.DLL is the module where the access violation occurred. I’d first try a clean installation of the Intel graphics driver rather than simply updating over the existing version. If possible, test both the latest driver and the OEM driver provided for your specific laptop, since OEM packages can include platform-specific fixes.
I’d also make sure Windows 11 is fully updated and verify whether the crash occurs only in CS2. If it happens consistently after driver installation, try disabling overlays and hardware acceleration from other applications and test CS2 with default graphics settings.
Because the failure is an INVALID_POINTER_READ inside the Intel graphics module, the dump is useful evidence for Intel support. If a clean driver installation and OEM driver do not resolve it, I’d provide the dump, exact system model, BIOS version, and CS2 crash details when reporting the issue.
