FPS in fortnite reduced the enxt day i opened it on intel iris xe integrated gpu

Hello, my laptop is Lenovo ideapad 3, 16gb ram, Core i5 12th gen U type cpu, and an integrated Intel Iris Xe 128mb gpu. So i recently downloaded fortnite and it woulnt just stop crashing, after 3 hours of just endless searching and tweaking, i found out through a thread on intel's website that it was because of the newer version of intel gpu driver, so i installed the older version and voila, i played on constant 120 fps on performance mode. But today, when i turned on my laptop and opened the game, im not even touching 120 fps in the lobby, and in game im getting fps between 5 to 70 and i really dont know why this is happening, i didnt change anything, and the performance just reduced on its own. I checked the power modes but that was on high performance. If anyone could help, it would be a great favour.
Looking forward for a reply
Thanks in advance

Hello Randy
Your assistance is appreciated. However i was able to resolve the issue. So basically, windows had automatically downloaded and installed the newer graphics driver, so I first paused the updates for 5 weeks, then i reinstalled the older version of the driver through the setup i downloaded two days ago, i performed a clean installation meaning it uninstalled all the graphic drivers and installed just the older version, without replacing or upgrading the driver, then i restarted my laptop, tried the game but for some reason that didnt solve the issue of low fps, pretty weird but i resumed the updates, downloaded and installed all the available updates which also included the graphics driver, after restarting i just installed the older version of the driver (without a clean installation) and that just solved the issue. Long story short, just use install the 6078_101.5736 version , and youre good to go, pretty amazed by the fact this laptop was able to run fortnite on upto more than 120 fps on low settings.
Thank you for your time Randy. Hope this helps others as well.
Regards,
Abdullah
