Warm Greetings to all concerned.
I am currently using a Intel i5 1335U laptop with 16 GB DDR5 RAM. This naturally comes with Iris Xe Graphics, which I use occasionally in playing games on my Linux partition (Fedora 44 Workstation Edition).
However, I am noticing rather poor performance in some games, such as Persona 3 Reload. For P3R, I am getting sub 30 FPS, even when dropping my resolution to 1400x900 and 1650x1050, with reflections off and a 75% resolution scale. I've tried most recent versions of Proton, such as Proton 11, Proton GE, Experimental, Hotfix and some custom Proton versions, such as Proton EM, with my driver being the i915 (I tried using the xe drivers, but it was rather unstable). I've also tried using Gamescope to no avail.
Is there anything I can do to get some kind of performance boost? Beyond changing power profiles (which already didn't work), or updating my current packages (which I've already done)?
Kind regards,
Ibrahim.

Hi Ibrahim_Sow,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you're experiencing with the Persona 3 Reload.
Based on our assessment, the game is outside the system requirements set by the developer. It would be best to consult with the game developer if they will be adding support for the reported iGPU.
Best regards,
Jeanell A.
