I was installing the intel graphics driver on my Core i5 laptop but he was continuously crashing.

 

What is the issue?

We understand that you are having issues when installing your graphics driver for your Core i5 laptop as the system is continuously crashing.


Based on our research, here are the possible reasons for the issue that we have:


  • outdated
  • incompatible drivers

 

In order for me to isolate the issue and provide the best solution, kindly provide the following information:


  • Please provide the link to where you can get the driver that you are trying to install.
  • Why do you want to update your driver? Are you having any issues with your system?
  • When installing the drivers, are there any error messages?
  • When you mentioned that the system was crashing, did you mean having a blue screen? If yes, please see the error message on the blue screen.
  • Please provide us with your SSU, as it would really help us if we could get more information about your system.


Kindly do the following:

1. Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application to your system.

2. Open the application, tick Everything, and click Scan to see system and device information. The Intel® System Support Utility defaults to the Summary View on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says summary to change to Detailed View.


3. To save your scan, click Next and click Save. You can save the file to any accessible location on your computer.


4. Attach the text file here.
