Hello @ACarmona_Intel
I attach images corresponding to my laptop with maximum CPU status at 100% and with 99% (I only opened the Chrome browser), I also use the CPUID HWMonitor program and installed the driver from Intel® Driver and Support Assistant.
Thank you for your attention, I will be attentive to your response.

Hello Nato,
Thank you so much for the response.
Based on our research, here are the possible reasons why the issue that we have occurs:
- Demanding applications
- Multiple open browser tabs
- Unresponsive programmes
- Overclocking
- Fan failure
- Blocked air vents
- Outdated software
- Direct sunlight
- Viruses or other malware
You have mentioned that the issue happens after updating the graphics driver on your system. In regards to that, we will try to install your graphics driver again using the Acer graphics driver or our Intel generic drives using the manual method.
Acer graphics driver update: Please go to the link provided below to update your Acer graphics driver, and if the issue still persists, try our Intel generic driver.
Intel graphics driver update: Please use the manual method.

Hello again @ACarmona_Intel , I tried all the steps you left me but the problem still persists. Regarding the possible reasons why the problem may occur, I answer each of them:
- Demanding applications: Only the browser and HWMonitor are open
- Multiple open browser tabs: Only the default window is open
- Unresponsive programmes: The notebook is new as from the factory, it was formatted a month ago. Here I want to leave more information: In a technical service they fix the problem (I took my laptop 3 times, I spent approximately 100DLS in total), they fixed the problem but then in automatic updates or with the updates of the Driver Assistant and Intel Technical Assistance, the driver was updated again and the problem returned, I asked the person in charge what was the problem? and they only told me "you just had to format it", but since they made money every time I took the laptop to their premises, I suppose they would never tell me what the problem was, but at least I know that formatting it will solve it. The issue is that if I format it it doesn't fix it, then it must be a driver issue, and this is where I don't know how to solve it.
- Overclocking: It is not overclocked
- Fan failure: The fans are in perfect condition.
- Blocked air vents: I use the notebook with a fan base or I leave the notebook at a height for good ventilation
- Outdated software:I mention again that I believe the problem is with the Intel driver, since its update causes high temperatures when having the Processor Power Management in Maximum Processor State at 100%, since before updating it it did not cause the problem.
- Direct sunlight:I use it inside the house without direct sunlight
- Viruses or other malware: The overheating occurs since the driver was updated, whether it was recently formatted or how it is now with only the Chrome browser installed and HWMonitor
I add images of the Intel® Driver and Support Assistant:
I want to thank you again for following my case and insisting on your help, I hope you can help me solve this problem that has had me with a headache for months, thank you so much.

Hello Nato,
Thank you for the detailed response.
Please try to disconnect your discrete graphics card, which is NVIDIA, and check if the issue still persists.
Furthermore, if the issue still persists, please contact your system manufacturer to understand the system’s normal operating temperature range and to report any unexpected behaviour of the system.
Thank you, and have a great day ahead!
Best regards,
Carmona A.
