HP 290 G1 MT Business PC

Hello intel Community

I have a Hewlett Packard 290 G1 MT Business PC Desktop that has - 

 

CPU: intel Core i5-6500 3.4Ghz

RAM: DDR4 2.13Ghz 4 GB HP Memory.

Graphics: intel HD Graphics 230 2GB Video Memory

Hard Drive: Kingston 220GB Solid State Hard Drive

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10.0.19044.1862 Professional

 

i use it to Play Grand Theft Auto on Normal Graphics. not too Low or High but Normal and i am getting Constant Game Freezing because i am running Kaspersky Internet Security with Steam.

My FPS is Always Below 20 What can i do to Get 30 FPS constant? and Stop Game Freezing for 5 seconds every 30 seconds!

 

Please Advise on what to do.

Your problem could be caused by several issues.

You can find the latest graphics driver here:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html

 

I would take the time to re-apply the thermal paste, clean the heatsink and fans, and insure proper ventilation.

I would also uninstall kaspersky and use Windows Defender.  You should do this just as a test.

2. What is the exact version of the game that you are playing? (GTA 5, GTA: San Andreas)

3. Does this issue happen with Intel and Hp drivers?
