I would like to ask about the future support of DirectX 12 Ultimate on Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
Currently, some modern games such as Pragmata and Resident Evil 9 require DirectX 12 Ultimate features and do not run on Iris Xe, showing errors like “unsupported GPU” or failing to launch.
My question is:
Is there any chance that Intel will add or enable DirectX 12 Ultimate support (or required feature levels) for Iris Xe through future driver updates?
Or is this limitation strictly hardware-based and will not be addressed for existing Iris Xe GPUs?
I would really appreciate any clarification on this, as it would help me understand whether to expect compatibility improvements in the future.
