Hello,
I've been experiencing consistent FPS stuttering in Roblox on my laptop, and I am hoping someone can help determine whether this is a driver, Windows, or GPU issue, or Roblox itself.
My Specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7200U (7th Gen, 2.70/2.50 GHz)
- GPU: Intel UHD 620 (Integrated Graphics)
- RAM: 16GB
- Storage: SSD -500GB
- OS: Windows 10
- Power mode: High Performance, and I set Roblox to High Performance GPU under Graphics Settings
Games I play:
WarThunder: Runs at 40-55 FPS on lowest settings, very stable.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Only minor stutter when players load in.
GTA V: 25-35 FPS, playable for me, on lowest settings.
Roblox: This is the only game that randomly drops FPS from 60 to low 30 or even lower, stutters for a few seconds, then goes back to 60 FPS, and repeats.
The Issue:
Roblox runs at 60 FPS for a few minutes. (Depending on the games in Roblox, I had issues with these games like Arsenal, PTFS, BRM5, and some specified games)
Then the FPS drops for a few seconds, sometimes repeatedly.
I've optimized everything possible (graphics settings, fullscreen optimization, disabled Xbox Game Bar, background apps, updated drivers, etc.).
Tried FPS Unlocker as well, no improvement.
What I am looking for:
Could this be a driver issue with Intel UHD 620, or is it just Roblox?
Could frame pacing or GPU scheduling in Windows be causing this?

Hello,
Your specs are decent for Roblox, so the issue is likely Roblox optimization, not your GPU or drivers. Intel UHD 620 can handle Roblox fine, but many Roblox games are poorly optimized, especially ones like Arsenal or BRM5.
