Is it possible to output 144Hz via the Intel(R) HD Graphics 530?

Thank you very much. 🙂

Hello nostrodomos,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

  • What is your system model?
  • What is the resolution you are planning to use?
  • What is the video port your will use (HDMI, DP)?
  • Are you using a dual monitor configuration? What is the model of the monitor?

Hi,

thanks for the feedback. 🙂

What is your system model?
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500T CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
HP ProDesk 600 G3

What resolution do you plan to use?
4k -> that works!

What video port will you be using (HDMI, DP)?
I'm using Displayport 1.4.

Are you using a dual monitor configuration? What is the model of the monitor?
Yes, from and to. LG 27GN950-B.AEU is the monitor that is important.

Thanks for your help!

Hello nostrodomos,

Thanks for your reply.

Based on the processor specs (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/88183/intel-core-i56500t-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-10-ghz.html), the Intel® HD Graphics 530 Support 4K at 60Hz. However, this information is when you are using only one monitor, if you have a multiple-display environment the performance will be impacted by the graphics resolution set on both displays.

Also, based on the CPU specifications, the maximum resolution supported by the graphics card when using DisplayPort is 4096x2304@60Hz.

Hey Jean,

thanks a lot for the great help! It is then as I had already thought. But is not bad at all.

By the way, I have all monitor ports in use at the same time, with both display ports capable of outputting 4k at the same time. 🙂

Many greetings and thanks!
Alex.
