Hi
I have a Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 on my laptop and I have recently purchased a monitor which is connected to the laptop via a VGA to HDMI cable. However for some reason my laptop cant seem to detect the second display.
I have updated all my drivers, I have tried restarting but it still does not detect the display.
Further specs of laptop:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-5010U @2.10GHz
RAM: 8GB
System type: 64bit
If you have any suggestion please could you comment on discussion.
Thank you.

The use of adapters/converters is not supported. Try connecting to a monitor that does not require an adapter.

Hello LynxRD,
This is to do a follow up on your inquiry and find out if you were able to configure the system as desired with the second display.
Thanks,
Esteban C
