I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I want to add 3 additional monitors on top of the laptop display. I want to extend for 4 different displays not extend. I have had the following 2 laptops recommended but no one is clear if they will do what I want. Please can you help ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED 14″ Laptop – Intel® Core™ Ultra 5, 512GB SSD, 16 GB RAM – Blue or Aspire 14 Oled 14 inch ultra 5

Ask asus or acer what capabilities their devices have.  Pay attention to the thunderbolt hardware.

Yes, that's possible.

Buy any laptop with Thunderbolt 4 and connect your monitors to this low-cost adapter: Cable Matters 201399

You then only need to unplug one cable when you take the laptop from the desk.
