4K Graphic Displays NO GUI Boot Up Info Until Windows 7 Boots

MB: Asus P8Z77-V Premium

CPU: Intel i7 3770K

OS: Win7 Ultimate x64

Problem

During W7 boots and when going thru receiver, it will be displaying out of sync signal instead of the GUI boot up info until Windows "Welcome" screen appears. However, if signal goes straight to monitor only, no problem at all and it will see all the boot up info. Unfortunately my monitor does not have any audio/speakers.

Testing

I also have Z77 and i5 2550K SB set up, same set up and no problem at all, just the 4K IB set up has this problem.

Try current released driver, beta driver and 10.2747 all have the same problem.

Hi!

I recommend updating the BIOS of the motherboard. The BIOS updates come with updates for the video BIOS which may help to fix the issue. I recommend as well trying a different receiver if possible.

Thanks for the reply. That is the first thing I did. I downloaded and updated the lastest BIOS but the problem srill remain the same. Any other suggestions?
