Adaptive tessellation in the Intel graphics command center

Hello, recently using the Intel graphics command center i found in the general setting a thing called adaptive tessellation, i don't know what Is It, should i enable It? I use my laptop mostly for playing videogame, what are the pro and the cons of using It? I can't find anything online about this option

Do you see that option only while playing video games or is it always showing?

Hello Alberto, thanks for your respond, i'm seeing the adaptive tessellation option in the general settings of my intel graphics command center application, i will provide a screenshot down here, I will also provide a report of my system as you requested, I don't have problem with my system I was just curious about this option because I couldn't find any information on what it does online.
