Amnesia: Dark Descent. why no intel hd graphics driver?

since april? until then, it was updated almost every month. i felt like we were just on the edge of being able to play Amnesia, and now nothing.

same here, ive been waiting to play amnesia the dark descent as well, just hoping for some sort of update that will make it possible~(R)

anyway, Yups, the link you provided is not meant for Intel (R) HD Graphics card, when i tried to install it, i get an error saying:

"The Driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.

Setup wil now exit."

funny though, on the list telling what intel chipsets/proccessors it supports, it mentions Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 Processor and well, thats my proccesor... and yet i still cant install it 😕 and it doesnt say anything about Intel (R) HD Graphics...

The driver is running fine for me with i5 2nd generation.

i guess my problem is where to find the right driver. when i goto http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support?iid=hdr+support http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support?iid=hdr+support

and choose Laptop Graphic Controllers then choose Intel HD Graphics, I am sent to the page with the april updates that used to the place where all the surrent drivers were easily found. what should i be looking for now inregards to the latest drivers?

Even if the video controller is embedded on the processor (need to confirm it with the processor model: http://ark.intel.com/ http://ark.intel.com/ ) Intel offers just generic drivers, but to the customize drivers you may need to contact the Original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Try to run the following command on the run Window (go to start then run) "msinfo32" and check for system manufacturer and model and try to get the drivers from there, good luck.

I have tried amnesia dark descent demo and found no issue with HD3000 and driver 8.15.10.2476.
