Application Window Disappearing from Primary Display

I have an HP Laptop with Intel Graphics 915/GMS, 910GML Express. I usually use dual mode, but today do not have access to my second monitor. Most applications are opening okay, but QMF for Windows is not. When I open the app, I can see the window float off the screen. If I maximize the window it shows on my laptop, but I cannot resize it / move it. Is there a solution -- other than connecting to a 2nd monitor and manually moving the app back to my laptop? I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you. .
