This might be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the updated drivers that would fix the vulnerabilities covered in the March 2019 advisory https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00189.html.
Have new drivers been released yet for these?
As it says at the bottom of the report:
Intel recommends that users of Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* update to versions 10.18.x.5059 (aka 15.33.x.5059), 10.18.x.5057 (aka 15.36.x.5057), 20.19.x.5063 (aka 15.40.x.5063) 21.20.x.5064 (aka 15.45.x.5064) and 220.127.116.1173 or later. Updates are available for download at this location: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics-Drivers
Yeah.... I went to that link and I found a download for versions 10.18.x.5059 (aka 15.33.x.5059), 10.18.x.5057 (aka 15.36.x.5057), - those are dated 9/18/18 ... so do those really contain the fix for the March 2019 advisory?
And I couldn't find anything that really met the criteria for these:
20.19.x.5063 (aka 15.40.x.5063)
21.20.x.5064 (aka 15.45.x.5064)
Looks like there might be a 18.104.22.16865, but only if you are running Win 7 32 bit.
Could you point me to the specific download for say a Windows 7 or Windows 10 computer that has a "Intel® HD Graphics 5500" installed? I found an old version, but nothing that met the recommendations given by Intel in the advisory.
You're absolutely right; I don't see anything after build 5058 either. Intel Customer Support will need to tell us whether/where it is available...
