Hi ever since I bought Arma 3 about 4-5 days ago I have not been able to play for longer then 45 minutes without getting the error "d3d error dxgi_error_device_removed", I have tried multiple fixes but have had no success. I have tried:
- Installing newest Intel HD 4000 driver's.
- Running at lowest settings.
- Running in small resolution.
- Running the required files. (That come with the game)
- Reinstalling DirectX
- Verifying game through steam.
I have seen in a lot of posts that people have downgraded to 9.17.10.2932, but I was unable to find a download that worked. If anybody is to know of a fix/way to get around this error i would be truly greatful.
Thanks in advance
Dexter
P.S - It is not because it is a laptop or because it is not for gaming, I can run the game absolutely fine at around 20-25 FPS.

Hello Mr.Dexter,
You may update your game. There are games that require an always-connected system, multi-player, or massively multi-player online (MMO) automatically update when you connect to their servers. However, single player games can have optional updates pushed out by their developer. Check the game Web site or use the provided game updating tool to make sure that the game is up-to-date.
Also, doing research I found this forum post from a 3rd party site that might have some useful information. Have you checked it out already?

According to the above mentioned support forum the current solution is to downgrade your graphics driver to (9.17.10.2932), you could try downloading it from a third party website http://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php/940d812455499ac1f18c6d889a246215/55dd7939/32790/4/1?tsf=0 Download Intel HD Graphics Driver 9.17.10.2932 for Windows 7, Windows 8 - Softpedia
You may additionally try the Acer* drivers from here http://www.acer.co.il/ac/en/IL/content/drivers/4098;-;Aspire%20E1-571 Download Drivers and Manuals | Acer Official Site
Additionally the official list of games that have been tested using Intel® HD graphics 4000 is available here: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033387.htm Intel® Graphics — Playable Game List for Intel® HD Graphics 2500/4000

The 9.17.10.2932 is the driver I was looking for but never found a working link, This one I was able to download but am unable to install it as it says "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software".
I believe that if I can get this driver installed it will work correctly.

HelloMr.Dexter
This error is caused by the current operating system architecture. You may try running the driver installer setup into compatibility mode, however, it may fail the installation process.

Compatibility mode did not make a difference, I tried multiple options (Windows 7, Windows 8). I also tried running as admin but still no difference.
