Periodically, the game crashes without an error, starting with driver version 32.0.101.6972 and all subsequent versions up to version 32.0.101.81368

Without problems, the game runs on the driver version 32.0.101.6913 on the same system.

ill any decisions on this issue?

With respect Aleksandr

Hello Alex2160,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I understand that the game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora crashes intermittently when using driver versions starting from 32.0.101.6972 up to 32.0.101.81368, while it runs without issues on version 32.0.101.6913.

To help investigate this further, may I kindly ask for the following details:

  • When did this issue start occurring?
  • How often does the crash happen, and does it also occur during specific actions or scenes in the game?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your system before the issue began (e.g., Windows updates, new software installations)?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried aside from changing the driver version?

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Thank you for responding.
The problem occurred immediately after installing the driver on 32.0.101.6972. On the same system, without any changes to the components and software.
I tried reinstalling Windows using the update center, deleting the remaining drivers using DDU, the crashes also continued involuntarily. Until you switch back to the driver 32.0.101.6913
Departures happen suddenly, you can play for 30 minutes. Or it can crash to the desktop immediately after the screensaver ((
I think the system is hardly to blame here, because everything works fine on 32.0.101.6913.

If you have any suggestions, I will be happy to respond to the investigation.

Yours sincerely
Alexander

Hello Alex2160,

Thank you for your detailed response and for confirming the steps you have already taken. Based on the information you provided, I understand that the issue began immediately after installing driver version 32.0.101.6972 and persists with all subsequent versions up to 32.0.101.81368. The game crashes randomly, either after 30 minutes of gameplay or right after the loading screen, while it runs smoothly on version 32.0.101.6913. You have also tried reinstalling Windows and used DDU to remove previous drivers, but the issue remains.

To try to resolve the issue, I kindly suggest you try DDU first before installing the latest graphics driver, 32.0.101.8136. Additionally, please update your BIOS to the latest version, 3287.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Good afternoon!
Updated the bios. I deleted all the drivers from the DDU. I set 101.8136.
The new The Outer Worlds 2 works great. The ancient Forza 7, which does not know the b580 card, works the same way without problems.
But the Avatar crashes as well(((. I installed new drivers 101.8247, and a miracle happened, the Avatar stopped crashing. I hope there was a mistake.
With respect
Alexander

Hello Alex2160,

Thank you for the update. I am glad to hear that updating to driver version 101.8247 resolved the crashing issue with Avatar. It is also great to know that The Outer Worlds 2 and Forza 7 are working well.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance or if there is anything else I can help you with.
