Beter driver for Intel graphics chip set (legacy).

Dear all, I am trying to increase the maximum amount of pixels my screen is currently displaying.

I'm using an old laptop (Jewel 2600, in essence a Uniwill 259; about 10 years old). It makes use of the following graphics chipset (on board): Intel 915M/910ML/915MS. At the moment Windows 10 has automatically installed the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. It only drives resolutions of up to 1024 x 768 pixels. The screen can however display up to 1280 x 800 pixels, which I would like.

Until now I have had no luck identifying an Intel driver, for the Intel legacy chip set, that does better than the standard driver that Microsoft installs. Can anyone help me out?

I understand you are looking for updated Windows® 10 graphics driver for this mature Intel® Graphics Controller.

Intel provides Windows® 10 graphics drivers for newer graphics controllers.
