Bluetooth Audio Garbled After Intel Driver Update

hello everyone, I am having trouble with my intel audio device thing. my intel auto driver update program said my Bluetooth driver was out of date, so I updated it. and now when I try to listen to audio, it is garbled after a few seconds of no9rmal playback. please help
