HD

I have a HP Pavillion desktop that has an HD 2000 card and I have bought a Dell Ultrasharp 27" screen but the highest it supports is 1680 x 1050.

Does anyone know if it can support this and how I would do it?

If not can anyone suggest a compatible card I can use.

Thanks

Alan

Hi Demondealer,

The graphics controller in mention can get the resolution 2560x1600 when using Display Port only. It is also important to mention that the OEM can limit the capabilities of the graphics controller. Besides the cable requirement, the monitor also needs to support this resolution.

My best recommendation is to contact the computer manufacturer and confirm if the computer model supports that resolution and also if the monitor supports it.
