The external monitor I am using is LG 27GP850-B and my laptop is Samsung Book4 core i7.
Currently using an HDMI cable which is only giving me 1440p at 60Hz when connected to my laptop but the same cable is giving me 1440p 120Hz when connected to my console.

- 2 x HDMI 2.0
- 1 x DisplayPort 1.4
- VESA AdaptiveSync
2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz (HDMI)
2560 x 1440 @ 165 Hz (DisplayPort, 180 Hz overclocked)
Samsung Galaxy Book4 (NP750XGJ)
I would recommend connecting this monitor using one of these cables:
- Zeskit MAYA 8K Bi-Directional USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable
- Club 3D USB Type C Cable to DP 1.4 (CAC-1557)
- Cable Matters USB-C to DisplayPort Cable - 8K Ready (201036)
- Cable Matters Premium Braided USB C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable (201336)
This should allow you to use the monitor with its full capabilities (including variable refresh rate).
