Current computer is a Dell Inspiron 3670, i3 8400 processor with Intel UHD 630 integrated graphics. Will this gpu drive a Dell S3221QS 4k monitor(3840x2160) at 29 or 30Hz over HDMI? There will be no gaming on this machine.

I could not locate i3-8400. Only i5-8400. However, the processor specs indicate that the max resolution is 4096x2304@24Hz. This may change if dell customized your system as they have the option to increase it. Thanks Sen, keyboard slip, it is an i5. I guess what I was looking for was refresh rates at a given resolution. I haven't done any pc building in years and I remember when you could see all supported resolution/refresh rates. I did plug it into a friends 4k tv and it returned 3840x2160 @ 29Hz - which is the minimum refresh rate for that monitor. Haven't heard back from Dell yet. Think I'll give it a try.
