Control Panel missing + features lowered

When I first got this laptop i had the intel uhd 630 version 23.2 or something, i had the graphics control panel which even let me enter custom resolutions without any issue. I updated to 27.20 and the control panel went missing, apparently this happened with almost everyone. I downloaded the graphics control panel from microsoft store and it said that i CANNOT enter custom resolutions, i would like to know why it says that even though the graphics card is more updated now, they just disabled a cool feature.
