Hi team,
I'm trying to scan my system through DSA but it kept on scanning and not able to detect anything. I have uninstall and downloaded the latest version and install but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

I think the problem is this doesn't work on older hardware (IE x299 boards which I have)
My laptop scans fine, but my x299 with a7800x cpu wont scan for ANYTHING,
I have a feeling they lost all the downloads for older hardware and are scrambling to fix it.
I think they were hacked or some dumb intern deleted all the old stuff

It started working today.
I got the green dot on the systray icon and it scans my hardware, although it scans SO FAST that I'm not sure it's really scanning anything but it's showing my correct hardware at the end

It appears things have been rectified now.
My system scanned and updated with no issues yesterday.
Good luck everyone!

do you have a seagate external hard drive?
If you do, that's why it's scanning endlessly. It hangs on the external drive. If I disconnect mine the intel DSA starts working like it should.
There's another thread about this and still no answers as to why

Nailed it, tried it without external drive, no problem! Weird.

Hello all,
We are still working on a fix for this new issue.
At this time we do not yet know when it will go into production. We apologize for the inconvenience while we resolve this. Thank you for providing the details so we can address it.
We will appreciate that if you are facing a different behavior, please share the details and the logs:
Intel® DSA logs:

- Look for: Disk C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA, and zip the Log files or the entire folder: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14200/windows-compress-uncompress-zip-files
Note: In case you do not see the "ProgramData" folder click on the upper tab "View" and check the box "Hidden items".
Intel® DSA Uninstaller tool logs:
- Use the Uninstaller tool again to uninstall the remaining files for the Intel® DSA.
- Press Windows key + E (File explorer Windows will be opened with this key combination).
- Click on "This PC."
- Look for: Disk C:\, on the search bar, type: "DSAUninstaller.log".

Hello all,
Thank you to everyone who has provided log files to us.
We have evaluated these and found a fix for the endless scan issues people are encountering. It should be implemented by the end of January.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you still have issues with the new version released, please post a new thread as this one will no longer be monitored by Intel.
Regards,
Sebastian M
