DVI output stopped working. Reinstall driver and it works again for a while

Hi all,

the detailed information of the error is below. One day the DVI output stopped for minutes then it worked again. Some days (1 week) after it completely stopped working. The display connected and the cables are working.

I realized that if I re-install the intel graphic drivers the DVI output works again for a while (but just if I don't reboot!) . DVI is also not working while booting or in the BIOS.

The DVI output stopped working. After that, I tried to uninstall and install the Graphics driver (Intel_VGA_Win7-8-8-1_V1018103920). After install it, the DVI output works for a while (30 mins maybe) and then it stops again. I have to restart, re-install the driver and then it works again. While the computer is booting or in the BIOS just the VGA output is working.

Does it fail every single time, or only sometimes?

If you can offer a % rate please do.

Like two weeks ago the DVI stopped working but just for minutes. Right now the DVI output is not working for the 100% times that I start the computer.

I have noticed that you have an older driver version, please try with the following version https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25588/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-15-36- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows 7/8.1* [15.36], I would recommend following these steps http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html How to Manually Install a Driver in Microsoft Windows 7* for Graphics... in order to install the driver.
