DX58SO can't activate SLI

Hi all,

I have now a new DX58SO. My grafics are 2x 8800GTX. My system runs on W7 64 ultimate with 3x2GB 1333 and i7 920.

I only can aktivate physX. All existing drivers are testet over 2 Days, inlc NVIDIA betadriver. I'm getting crazy.

What can I do? Is there an issue in the bios?

Ps: Sorry about my english.

Any questions, please ask.

THX

Yes, I tried every step of Bios from the beginning of the SLI support version 3435. All the same negativ result.

I can't see a point where I can enable SLI and the NVIDIA setup allows only the physX. There I can chose one of the grafics 8800GTX

Hey, i've got nearly the same Problem, with another MoBo, but the same chipset. What i found out so far by contacting Fujitsu and nVidia: The C2 stepping of the chipset does NOT support SLI, this is only available in B3.

Since the Intel support is...far more specific so to say, and i don't even have a real problem, i'm posting this question here: Is it really true that the C2 stepping does not support SLI? And is there ANY way to come by without buying a new mobo? I've read an article that the X58 Chipset is the first chipset which can have SLI without a nForce chip, but has to have a "cockie" (?).

Anyway there seems to be a way to activate SLI though, any idea? Please? I'd really like not being a fool by buying a second card without being able to run SLI...beside the price factor.
