Dell E4310 (Intel® HD Graphics) flickers when extending display to monitor

I have a Dell Notebook (E4310), when not connected to any external display have minor flickering issues.

When it's connected to a monitor via VGA, both the panel and monitor will flicker more and this is especially prominent in "white areas".

Can anyone helps?

I still the problem, after I download the latest driver from intel. They said "Display: Occasional notebook display flickering when running in battery mode corrected". Did u also plug in the power adapter.

Can anyone help us.
