We have a desktop monitor and a tv in our classroom and our previous laptops Dell Latitude 5310 we would need to change the Intel command center to maintain display scaling for our tv display to display properly. With the new laptops we don’t have that option any more. And we are having issues getting the tvs to work properly.
I tried the version of video driver that is on Dell support first then I installed the current one on intel support. Neither gives me this options.
I can get more data if you want me to run some kind of scan while connected to the tv. I can also get screen shots and versions of the Intel graphics command center. I just need some suggestions and Monday I can update this post.

Hello Mtavares
Thank you for the reports.
I noticed that you are running an older version of the graphics driver. Please download and install the latest driver from here: 31.0.101.4577
Also, make sure you go to Start > Settings > Windows Update to keep your system up to date, the version you are running is 22000.
After that, please check if that makes a difference.
Best regards,

Hello Mtavares
Thank you for your patience.
Please go to this site: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000156229/using-monitor-asset-manager-version-2-6-to-read-extended-display-identification-data-edid-information
Then, download and run the tool. After that:
1. Connect the 4K TV directly to the PC and using the application save all real time info to a file.
2. Connect the TV via dock station and save real time info to a second file.
3. Same thing with the Dell monitor

Hi, I'm kind of swamped right now to do this. When I get a chance I will do but quick question.
But we have an HDMI to a wallplate can I plug it into the wallplate or does it need to be the tv direct? The wall plate does go to the tv directly.

Hello Mtavares
Thank you for your patience.
Based on our research, we have identified the following configuration:
Your setup entails the following components:
· The television is connected via an HDMI cable to a wall port, which in turn links to an ELMO doc cam tt12-ID.
· The ELMO doc cam tt12-ID is connected through a passthrough HDMI to the Wd19TB docking station.
· A C2722DE display is connected via USB-C to the thunderbolt port on the docking station.
Also, could you kindly provide clarification regarding the purpose of the HDMI IN port on the ELMO doc cam tt12-ID? what for is used HDMI IN port in Elmo?
It is advisable to compare the versions of IGCC (Intel Graphics Command Center) between Dell 53XX and 54XX models, particularly focusing on any substantial discrepancies between versions. Generally, recent IGCC iterations might have certain display settings replaced with links to the operating system settings. So currently the best option for more advanced changes is to use a control panel or modern system settings or a combination of both in some cases.
Once all the necessary adjustments have been configured within the Windows operating system, these settings should be retained for subsequent instances of connecting the laptop to this specific setup. We have also conducted evaluations of the TV settings pertaining to aspect ratio and scaling, various cable versions (1.4/2.0/2.1), as well as the HDMI supported version of the wall socket.

The setup is correct as you stated there.
The In Port goes to the Docking station It is the passthrough port.
They have a switch to change between Doc cam and the PC to toggle or you can just leave the Doc cam off and it will pass through.
See the pic I included.
The out port goes to the wallplate which goes to the tv.
So on the older 5310 model, I do notice there has been a change where it pushes you to use the old Windows display setting window which I understand but that doesn't have the option to change the scaling. The intel graphics command center does have the setting where I can still pick the Tv and force the maintain display scaling options for the tv. The newer 5420 laptop doesn't have the option on the drop-down like the 5310 does.
For the new Laptop the only option I have to fix scaling is going to change the Refresh rate to 60 after changing the tv resolution to 1920x1080 even then why does this not happen by default when mirroring the laptop to the tv? It will always go to active of the 4k resolution and the refresh rate is at 30 and won't sync up till I make the 60hz change.
