My intel control panel does not display the option to turn on/off "display power saving technology".
I'm running windows 8.1 x64 in a mac mini with bootcamp. I've downloaded the latest drivers (version 15.33.35.64.4176) from intel website on this page: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24826/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24826/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit
I'm desperately trying to disable this because the britghness/contrast flickering is driving me NUTS. VERY ANNOYING.
I've spent an entire day trying to solve this without success. Help me please! Pretty please!

Hi Sylvia, I forgot to mention that I've looked in the forums for people having similar problems. That's how I found that my control panel does not show the option to disable the display power saving technology. I've already seen the thread you linked to. But it's related to using a notebook with a battery or with ac power supply. That's not what I'm experiencing. There is no way to use a mac mini with a battery.
The thread that made me find about the missing option was this one:
Well, I'll get in contact with apple support then. Thanks.
